It is essential in graduations, like other significant days, and we can no longer give up on photography and video in today’s world.

Professionalism is also very special today in the digital world, where millions of photos are produced daily.

Everyone takes videos or photos with their mobile phones when graduating, but this is not the kind of shooting we want to discuss.

For graduation shooting, I would first suggest you meet with renowned photographers and photography studios in your city.

Don’t leave your job to chance. It will happen once in your life; pay three or five more and demand quality.

The shooting day and graduation day probably won’t be the same. I don’t think they should be.

Make an appointment before graduation to be more comfortable. It’s also possible after graduation, but you’ll probably be saying goodbye to the city you spent years in an hour or two after graduation without even looking back.

If it’s after, things can get complicated; the opportunity may not arise.

 If you are going to have a studio shoot, your job will be a little easier. Your photographer will guide you through all the processes.

Then there are Photoshop and printing processes, all of which must be done by an expert graphic designer.

If you have an outdoor shoot, you will have at least half a day. It takes hours to prepare anyway.

Also, when you add the photographer and the outdoor shooting location or locations, a lot of time is spent.

You should plan well so that you do not waste this critical day. Your graduation photos should be beautiful.

A capped photoshoot will be enjoyable with a quality and sincere photographer friend.

Therefore, you should be careful when choosing a photographer. For example, you can select photographers who will be references from last year’s graduates.

Although being with people you don’t know can be demoralizing at first, you can become friends after a few shots and even start helping each other.

It’s not about whether you’re familiar or not. The real issue is the number of people in your group.

As a team doing graduation shoots for a long time, we’ve taken photos with groups of 1 to 8 people and completed our shots wonderfully.

Based on our experience, we can say that the ideal number of people for a group with caps is 3.

If you’re a large group, we recommend splitting into two and having the shots done at different times.

The choice of clothing for the yearbook shoot is up to the person.

Try to choose clothes that are not exaggerated.

Do not choose thick, puffy clothes, thinking that you will wear a cap or robe over them.

Use Auxiliary Equipment

In addition to the three main pieces of equipment I mentioned above, auxiliary equipment is also used.

Some of this equipment will probably be with your photographer.

Talk about this beforehand and decide precisely what will happen.

Also, talk to your photographer about the auxiliary items you want and provide them yourself.

You will get different excellent frames.

The auxiliary equipment in question varies widely.

Examples of these may include books, frames, umbrellas, mini signs with your school written on them, and flower crowns.

You may also use a few extra diploma rolls, balloons, and heart pillows.

Don’t complete your entire shot with or without a robe and cap. Occasionally, you can take different poses by holding the robe and cap in your hand or putting them aside.

Each person will pose differently in each shoot. A pose that looks great on someone else may not look good on you or vice versa.

If you know yourself best, you will learn the poses that look good on you. If you know what kind of look you should take from which direction, you will be more satisfied when you pick up my album.

Make sure you give beautiful poses that reflect yourself. If there are unique poses you want to take, talk to us beforehand.

The biggest problem that can arise between the photographer and the customer is during the delivery of the photos.

Everything from the print quality to the delivery of the images to the flash drive should be discussed and even written down at the beginning.

For example, I recommend that you take the virtual versions of the pictures on the flash drive and talk to us about this.

Make sure that your background is not cluttered during shooting.

Even artificial environments should not have any objects in the background that will disrupt the composition.

For example, picnickers who may enter the frame can undermine your photo. The less background is selected, the more you will be in the foreground.

When posing, ensure that one part of your body, especially your face, is not in the sun and the other is in the shadow.

In other words, your whole face is either in the shadow or entirely in the sun. Since it is never easy to look at the sun, it is more appropriate to stay in the shadow.

This issue is as much about you as it is about the photographer. Because he is the one who sees you, he needs to guide you. Make sure that you feel like a star in this regard.

Although graduation photos are usually taken when graduating from university, high school and middle school graduation photos can also be taken.

I have even taken pictures of kindergarten students.

Since beautiful and unique shoes are usually worn and hurt the feet, they can cause problems after the first half hour of the shoot.

A pair of sneakers you can take to rest your feet or during waist poses can save you a week after the shoot.
